More than 80 countries where monkeypox is not endemic have reported outbreaks of the viral disease, the World Health Organization has declared a global health emergency, confirmed cases have surpassed 31,400, and countries where it is not endemic have reported their first deaths.

Below are the non-endemic countries that have reported monkeypox-related deaths:

* Brazil reports its first death on July 31.

* India reports first death on August 1.

* Spain reported its second death on July 30.

* Australia has confirmed 58 cases as of August 9.

* India has confirmed nine cases till August 3.

* Bulgaria has confirmed four cases as of July 22.

* Croatia reported 12 cases as of August 2.

* The Czech Republic has confirmed 29 cases as of August 10.
